From small city garden to green and stylish dream garden

The residents of a beautiful house in The Hague wanted to turn their small city garden into a green and stylish garden with storage. Despite the limited space, Wijsman Hoveniers managed to make the dream of the Borger family come true.

The house is located in the middle of a residential area in The Hague. The French doors of the house give a beautiful view of the new garden. Wijsman Hoveniers has succeeded in transforming this small city garden into a private paradise.

Space for storage

The limited outdoor space and the desire of the Borger family for a storage space were a real challenge. But Wijsman Hoveniers took on this challenge with both hands. Despite the size of the garden, they managed to create no less than two storage areas at the back of the garden. This wooden storage is subtly integrated and fits seamlessly into the natural character of the garden. It does not stand out, but rather forms part of the natural appearance of the surroundings.

Space for relaxation

Another essential requirement was to create space for relaxation. For yoga, or just to quietly drink coffee or tea. To achieve this, two terraces were constructed. One terrace with a dining table and chairs, the other terrace with a bench and parasol. This way, the family can enjoy the comfortable seating areas.

Green and colorful

Walking around the garden, you will immediately notice the abundance of green and color. Wijsman Hoveniers has created a beautiful landscape with a variety of colorful flowers and lush plants. It almost feels like your own little botanical garden. Peaceful and not too busy.

Gray stone paths

To give the garden a structured look, several paths have been laid out. These paths consist of large grey stone tiles. These modern and stylish paths offer a beautiful contrast to the colourful surroundings. The paths also help to use the space efficiently and create a sense of structure.

Extension of your home
